(Jul 13, 2016)… The Value Systems Co., Ltd., jointly with BCBG Co., Ltd., exclusive distributor importing frozen bakery products from France, offered the delicious premium cake such as POINTE FRUITS ROUGES and POINTE ABRICOT to over 3,800 the teachers and students in schools of The Fairy Tale Library Project delivering the happiness in occasion of visiting all nine schools in the 1st semester of 2016. Moreover, they are also presenting the books contributions to all nine schools of The Fairy Tale Library Project as the intention of Mr. Narong Intanate, President of the Fairy Tale Library Project, which gets a warm welcome from both teachers and students.

About the Fairy Tale Project

The Fairytale Project is one of the corporate social responsibility (CSR) activities of The Value Systems Co., Ltd. The project was initiated by Mr. Narong Intanate, the Executive Chairman who wants Thai children to develop their love for reading and their imagination as well as to make the most use of their time. He believes that the love for reading should be instilled at a young age and fairytales are the best to start with. This is because most fairytales have imaginative contents, colorful pictures and they are full of imagination passed on to children by both the author and the illustrator. Therefore, he is certain that fairytales can play a big role in stimulating and instilling the love for reading at early years and they can also boost the imagination of children who are adults-to-be.

Therefore, the project was first launched in 2007 through the establishment of the beautifully decorated libraries with paintings on the walls, colorful bookshelves, a large collection of fairytales both in Thai and English language, a puppet theater, and a Lego corner to encourage children to use their imagination. The libraries were handed over to schools in the suburbs areas and nearby provinces. Volunteer staffs of The Value Systems carried out the tasks.

Then, in 2009, the project was adjusted not only to build fairytale library but also academic ones with a computer corner so that teachers and students can make the most use of them. The libraries are divided into two sections. The first section is fairytale library with fairytales categorized to suit different age groups which are 3-6 years old, 7-9 years old, 10-12 years old and also Fairytales written in English, a puppet theater, and an imaginative Lego corner. The other section is academic library with academic books categorized in dewy decimal system, a librarian corner, and a computer corner. The libraries are designed and decorated based on Ministry of Education’s 3 Dee Library approach.
